Preventing joint pain is important, helping you to maintain an active lifestyle in the future, even into old age. Here are some tips on how to avoid joint pain:

1. Exercise more.

It is a paradox that we move our joints so little to the worst when they need so much more. A sedentary lifestyle has contributed to the destruction of joints. Recently, there are very young people who have suffered from bone diseases, such as osteoporosis. Because of the sedentary lifestyle, lack of activity, almost all day the bones are not moved, the bones stop absorbing calcium, so they cannot ensure the amount of calcium that the body requires. That is the reason your bones and joints weaken, causing joint pain.

Living an active lifestyle is one solution to joint pain. Set aside a suitable time each day to exercise. Walking and jogging are the best exercises for the joints, moreover it’s a natural way of working. Start small, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or parking far away from the store when shopping or away from work, then walk straight to these places.

2. Eat enough calcium.

Eating healthy is one way you can take care of your joints. They will bring you health and no pain. You should eat enough calcium-rich foods, such as dairy products and fish. You should be exposed to the sun for about 15-30 minutes a day – sunlight helps the body make vitamin D, this vitamin helps the body absorb calcium.

3. Stabilize weight.

Check your weight periodically. Obesity is one of the biggest risk factors that can lead to joint problems. The joints have to increase the load when we are obese. As you gain weight, it becomes more difficult for you to move, which also makes you less active. Therefore, keeping a healthy body weight is important for joint health.

4. Regulating blood gas.

Make sure the blood qi circulates in your body. If you sit for a long time, your legs often start to feel numb. This may be due to poor blood and lymph circulation. Walk more and do a massage at least once a month.
